NIPPA is an incorporated association. The Association is managed by a Committee of Management, which is elected biennially. The Committee’s main responsibilities include the provision of industry and technical advice to members, project management, liaison with sponsors and the organisation of the Annual Conference.
NIPPA circulates information via regular contributions to print related magazines, newsletters, and a web based Forum. NIPPA also maintains a website for the exchange of information. The Committee of Management are available to assist individuals and management with technical enquiries. NIPPA Secretariat is equipped to aid members and associates with contact and co-ordination for any professional project that members may wish to initiate.
With branches in most Australian states and New Zealand, regular regional functions are held enabling members to meet and exchange ideas, network with peers, provide professional advice and to share both industry and product knowledge. NIPPA provides for the strengthening of management skills at state, national and international levels.
NIPPA recognises that print and the associated technologies and practices, are not only highly specialised but they are in an area which is rapidly developing. Our aim is to support our members’ organisations to manage these technological developments, to gain better understanding and maximise the return on their investments.
Our members are from a wide variety of print organisations, from large and small, including digital and offset. This incredibly broad base of expertise, with common challenges, ensures that our members are best placed to help and support each other. This is a major strength of NIPPA and brings real benefits to members.
